"Before working with Rachel, I struggled to get into the right mindset before a race, and my focus during the race was all over the place. This led to mistakes and results I wasn’t happy with, which only caused more frustration. Now, I’ve completely transformed my pre-race routine. I avoid talking to anyone before a race and instead follow a focused process: starting my Garmin, carefully reviewing race details, checking my bearings while scanning the map, and simply being more mentally present. I also use my buzzword, 'focus,' to ground myself during the run.

I’ve also learned to pace myself better from the start, focusing on controlling my first steps to avoid mistakes that could throw off the whole race. I’ve realised that a mistake early on can affect my entire run, so I’m now using the mental skills Rachel taught me to avoid that. Rachel’s coaching is clear and practical, and we practised together in sessions so I could easily apply these strategies on my own."

“After a particularly poor run, giving into too many distractions on the course I was curious about why I make these kinds of frustrating mistakes. I was talking to a fellow runner who recommended getting in touch with Rachel. Right from the start her quiet professionalism made me feel comfortable to discuss other aspects of my life. Rachel has given me the tools to understand what triggers/events lead up to being distracted on a run and how to stop them.

Over several sessions it quickly became obvious the I could use these tools in my daily life. This has transformed me! I am no longer the timid, nervous invisible lady I had drifted into over the last two decades. Now I use the mental skills Rachel has given me in all aspects of my daily life. I feel empowered, stronger, taller and I certainly don’t feel invisible anymore. I am happier than I have been in decades. I can’t thank you enough. It has been an amazing experience working with Rachel…and my running times have improved too!”

“I came to Rachel because I was really struggling with my Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and felt misunderstood by other practitioners. I had been referred to Rachel through another clinic and felt as though I didn’t have anything to lose. Rachel showed a high level of understanding for the issues due to her own personal journey with CFS.

During our sessions I had great help from Rachel to pinpoint my limiting beliefs and work in a gentle way to break free from them. Amongst many things, I learnt a great tool called Tapping which really helped me to process some childhood trauma. My energy levels are the best they have been in years and I am looking forward to the future again. Rachel is a very talented coach and I am very grateful I had the opportunity to have those sessions with Rachel.”

“I came to Rachel as I was really struggling with my confidence, in all areas of my life. I couldn’t speak up for my needs and as a result I was rejecting myself. I was often left feeling low, deflated and alone. Whilst working with Rachel I realised that I was struggling with social anxiety too but hadn’t been aware myself.

Rachel has helped me rebuild my confidence. She explained and helped me use self-help tools that stop me feeling anxious in social and work situations. Since our sessions I’ve learnt to not be so hard on myself and overall I’m feeling much more confident and happy.”
